Need a tripod or ring light for social media or for a self tape? Here are some of my favorite tripods and lights for actors. All of these suggestions are compact and great for travel!
1. This tripod by TONEOF is SUPER tall for a travel tripod, has a nice weighted base, and has a rechargeable remote!
2. I call this small tripod made by Ubeesize ‘The Claw’ because it attaches to everything – my car, lamp posts, doors, etc. It’s super portable, light and flexible!
3. If you’re looking for a travel ring light (that still fits in a backpack or large purse)? This one rocks! I personally don’t travel without it!

4. The Flipstick uses NASA-grade technology to stick to any surface. No tripod needed! This ‘tripod-less’ tripod definitely wins for coolest on this list!
5. This small (but bright) ring light is great for virtual auditions and zoom calls on the go. It’s also great for going LIVE on social media from your computer!
